The basic shapes

The Compendium of Berliner Seilfabrik consists of more than 200 different types of play equipment; their shared basis consists of a range of basic geometric forms. On the one hand geometry inspired the form language – and on the other hand it is the basis of the system of the different product groups.

How Berliner reach form and diversity?

The equipment manufactured by Berliner Seilfabrik stands for variety, movement, discovery and adventure. It opens up a kaleidoscope of possibilities to children but also to planners and architects. Regular bodies constitute the outer contours. In the view from above these appear as basic geometric shapes. These basic shapes give a structure to the different product groups.

The Cube

The Tetrahedron

The Icosahedron

The Docecahedron

That way the variety of the types of equipment remains clear and concise for the planning.
