Working with KIDS

Russell Play has been working with KIDS, the disabled children’s charity since early 2010. This followed an initial regional collaborative contract which demonstrated that Russell Play’s approach to developing creative and more inclusive play solutions mirrored much of KID’s thinking around the issue. KIDS were also keen to work with an organisation which has specific ambitions to develop products which are inclusive.

KIDS and Russell Play are currently working on a number of playground projects where our two organisations collaborate to produce better inclusive designs and in the coming years, we aim to work together on specific projects to develop inclusive play spaces and equipment by sharing our specific areas of expertise and knowledge. Our joint aim is to promote best practice in the important area of DDA compliance of play spaces.
